Well it's been a busy week(s) around here. I've been working on proofing a lot of large sessions.........so much to get through. I haven't been able to post a blog in a couple of weeks. Last weekend I went away on a wonderful retreat in Blue Mountain (village). It was sooooooooooooooo nice. I definitely want to share some photos ASAP. While I was there I spent an entire day proofing sessions and I got through a lot so I'm very pleased. I've was even able to get some DVD's out the door and made some people very happy.
One in particular, my cousin Gillian. She is in the process of launching her new business. Check out her website http://www.sweetestthing.ca/ You will find a lot of the pictures I have included below. We had a GREAT session at my in-laws house a couple of weeks ago. Four families packed into my in-laws house and basically took it over (sorry) but it worked out great. We had snacks to keep the kids happy and then really loved the camera I was so surprised. I have a fun picture of the chaos of trying to set up a group shot...........it was hilarious. Trying to get just one child to look somewhat happy in front of a camera is a challenge in itself let alone four or five of them. In the end we even had time to do some nice family pictures. Gillian, thank you for allowing me this wonderful opportunity. Congratulations on your business and I look forward to watching it grow! Heather

What a fun day today was!!!! We played in the leaves..........which Sydney LOVED by the way!!!! Then we headed off to Puck's Farm for some family fun...we'd never been there before so thought we should check it out to compare it against Downey's farm. In the end we liked different things about each farm.
Sydney has been saying "bouncy castle" for days now and jumping on her bed.........Ok the reason for this was a birthday party that we went to....that's where it all started. She went to this party and they had rented a bouncy castle and she just loved the thing; couldn't keep her off it. So we told her today there was going to be one and she got pretty excited! In the end we had to drag her out of that thing but took her to the train ride next so no tears were shed. Once she got on the train she was thrilled!! We also went on a hay ride with some fun ups and downs that got all of our stomachs feeling the butterflies. Oh yeah and don't forget the pony ride......not pictures of that since I took Sydney and Brian video taped the action. BTW Sydney didn't even cry! How fast they change. It was only in June when she cried on her first pony ride of the year......maybe that was her first pony ride ever actually. Anyhow, then off to the corn field maze we went. Sydney kept saying "this way, this way." we just kept going deeper and deeper into the maze. But finally we found our way out........ok it wasn't that hard to find our way out when we could see the exit sign the whole time but Sydney couldn't. Well I hope you enjoy the pictures and have a wonderful, happy, blessed Thanksgiving this year with your families. Heather Oh to be two. Wow these girls are so lucky! They got all kinds of wonderful gifts, they got to play with their friends and family and eat cake! Really what more could you ask for in life? There lives are simple and perfect. I think we all wish we could have such innocent and stress free lives. I watched them is amazement and tried to capture their excitement.
I've even got some cutie pie pictures of a little boy who came to join in the fun...........how adorable is he?? He's quite the little model. Also, I capture a shot of the newly engaged couple. Congratulations you two!!! I hope you enjoy the pictures! Last weekend I had the privilege of doing a photo shoot of this lovely family. No you aren't seeing double they are twins. Here are some pics from the photo shoot. How cute are they? I just love these pictures.
